Well, stopped at a gun store earlier, found out that revolvers are pretty standard for security officers? But I told him I had the option of carrying my own, and said I was looking for something that could be open/concealed easily and the guy suggested the G19, which they had new with adjustable sights, 2 15rd mags, and a case for $529.95

That is a bit much, so I looked at everything else but they were pretty costly. Found a G21 that I liked, was used for either $325 or $425.. came with 2 13rd mags (and a case as well I think).

The main application would be open carry, and I like how the G21 felt, the G19 wasn't bad either, didn't feel too small. I am not as concerned with concealment at this moment, but I would like to do so in time.. and if my other prospect somehow works out, that involves open carry as well.

The extra mag is nice as well, wouldn't mind being able to have an extra one at my disposal.

Feedback? Don't know.. is it up to preference? He said something about auto-glock or auto something, but the place was busy and he didn't seem too interested in educating me.

 

They also had the Beretta 96 for $300 with 1 11rd mag.
