So I was at Basspro yesterday and this followed me home, a p250.

I'm working on getting a few 9mm clips, after that I'm going to pick this up
https://www.topgunsupply.com/sig-sau...tml?quantity=1 and a few clips for the upgrade.

since I've got the 9mm for the majority of my range shooting do you think I should go for the .45 or .40 upgrade? it would be used as a secondary home defense weapon behind my shotgun?

sorry, magazines.
I noticed that there aren't any aftermarket companies that have made a mag for the p250 yet. I did find a pretty good site, www.topgunsupply.com that sells 9mm mags for a very reasonable price. I'm thinking of getting 4 add mags in the next week or so. that way I can have 1 loaded up with hollow point rounds and the other 4 will be for range use.

the sales guy at bass pro was telling me about the CCW class coming up, I think my friend and I are both going to take it next month. we figure might as well so if things do end up changing we'd be grandfathered and we could continue to renew.

I know my friend has all the cleaning stuff, but what are the basics of what I need? brush, bore snake, cleaning cloth, I'm not sure what kind of oil. what other stuff do I need for gun maintaince? any oil you recommend? I'm probably going to go shooting with my friend that really knows his stuff and I'm sure he'll go over it with me.

There aren't very many, if any, reputable aftermarket mag manufacturers for pistols. Get factory even if you have to pay a little more $.

For a cleaning kit, I just got a cheapo kit at walmart and it has everything you need unless a gun (which yours shouldn't) requires specialized stuff.

I'm looking to get a backup pistol/off duty pistol here soon. There's a place about 2 hours from my house that gives a Police/Military Discount on Glocks. I can get a Glock of my choice for $398. Comes with Pistol, 2 mags and a case. I'll want night sights on there, so that'll be another $50. I don't know much about pricing...so is $450 good for a new Glock with night sights? Or should I be looking for a better deal?

cool, looks like I'm going to be hitting up topgunsupply.com for the OEM mags.

I saw a few at the gun store the other day and new glocks were going for $500ish so that sounds like a pretty good deal based on what I saw.
