AZ is a must issue state, so I'm sending in my application and finger prints tomorrow. I've been hearing that the turn around is something like 5 days to get your permit in hands.

I hit the range today with my buddy who went to the gun show with me yesterday. He ended up going out to Bass Pro Shops today where one of the guys sold him a Beretta Storm 9mm PX4. The guy at Bass Pro apparently also instructs and offers a concealed course so we may be arranging our classes soon.

It doesn't have the feel like my XD9 but apparently the Beretta he got is pretty accurate. It has the rotating barrel lock which is pretty cool.

Today was also the first time I got to fire my Glock 30 .45 and damn that thing has some kick to it. I was pretty impressed.

Something that caught me off guard was out of the 150rds I fed through my XD, I had 4 FTF's. The only thing different from the last range visit was that I was using my Uplula to feed the mags instead of hand feeding them. Maybe its time for a field strip and a good cleaning. :hsdunno:

Any shotgun with a barrel less than 18" is illegal in VA. Although it would be fun as hell to shoot.

Awesome movie.

PA is a shall issue state, training not mandatory, but I'm going to take a class and maybe see if my dad wants to take it with me.

Sorry, I misspoke in the post 365 but I thought aobut it after I went to bed and didn't feel like getting up.

The gun pictured is an AOW and is only a $5 transfer. You still have to be in a CIII allowed state and go through the paperwork/cleo signoff/etc unless you go the trust or llc route.

is shall issue different than a must issue state?

there were some people in my class that I'm kind of fearful that they get to carry now. There was a blonde in our class and she was trigger happy wondering how and when she can get into a gun fight if the situation calls for it. Our instructor was talking about concealing for going into a mall and how at the main entrances of the mall they have signs posted, but at Sears they do not post so you can technically carry that way. The blonde in our class is asking if its legal if a crime is being commited if she can engage. I prefer to follow the instructors logic of only defend yourself if you are in fear of your life or if its to protect friends and family.

random law in AZ, your allowed to have your gun in your map pocked on the drivers door and you don't have to have a CCW permit. it doesn't have to be in a holster and its legit. The 2 step doesn't apply to the drivers map pocket.
