I bought 2.

They are pretty shitty But hell, $2

The slide is hard to slide back to grab the next round...it makes my hand hurt after a while. From point blank, I shot myself in the leg over some jeans...it left a mark and gave a nice sting From 12 ft, I can shoot a 4-5 inch grouping with a couple fliers out of 20 rounds

Pretty cool...but the thing is already on the shelf

And the thing is really tiny

from another forum:

If you have purchased anything from Budsgunshop.com you should check your credit card for fraudulent activity immediately.

I recently purchased a handgun online from Buds and within a month my credit card was charged over $1500 for airline tickets to Dubai. I'm waiting for the paperwork to arrive from my credit card co to dispute the charges, but in the meantime Buds sent me a canned email stating they temporarily stopped processing credit cards because of numerous customers complaints. This confirms they are the source of the problem. I only used that card for 4 items in the last month.

Even if you haven't purchased anything from them in a while, you should still check your statements online. There is no way to tell (at this time) if the info was stolen from current online data within a limited period of time or from physical store theft (stolen computer or slips) in which every customer is a potential victim.

Good luck.

Gun crew:

I turn 21 in six days. Recommend me a cheap starter handgun, to keep at home and take to the range two or three times per year. Cheap to shoot, maintain, etc. I know next to nothing about guns, and I don't plan on being a guru, but I like trips to the range, and my girlfriends .45 magnum scares me as far as home safety goes.

if it was just for the range I'd say get a .22 but if it's dual role then get a 9mm. it's one of the cheaper centerfire rounds out there but still has the punch to do the job. you need to go to a gun shop to see what fits your hand the best. finger off the trigger start from a low ready position, bring the gun up and see how fast you can line up the sights. you also want to be sure the grip is comfortable and controls are easy to manipulate. take a look at S&W sigma pistols which can often be bought for $300 or less. also look at S&W M&P, springfield XD, beretta, glock, generally any big name brand is likely to be good. also take a peak at Sig Sauer they're probably more expensive than you want to spend but you might decide it's worth it. Do not buy a gun the same day you go into the gun shop. instead write down the ones you like and do a little research.

when it comes to self defense ammo you need to keep a couple of things in mind. most SD ammo is +P, I'm not a fan of +P but it sells. Read the manual of your gun to see if it's +P rated and shop accordingly. the other thing is whatever super-duper hollow points you get run 100 of them through the gun to make sure it will function. if a gun can't shoot it's absolutely worthless.
http://www.ammunitiontogo.com is a good place for SD ammo
