M&P are top notch, i'd absolutely trust my life with them

same with J-frame revolvers

Basically, if you buy a S&W handgun stick with M&P line and revolvers. the SV series are utter crap

Make sure you are getting a emergency services discount.

If not go somewhere else, worst case order from buds. they give the same discount to paramedics and EMT's that they give to police and firefighters. I've ordered FFL products from them before it's not a big deal.

Wow, I can't believe how much less expensive they are on buds, and is that before discount? My position is kinda sucky simply because Im at the mercy of the store that we are trading the AR in at. They'll give us $650 cash or $800 trade in, which is close to the MSRP on it. They have a bigger 'new' selection but less used, and their prices are a little more than the local store.

I am trying to work this the best I can to get 2 handguns for as close to $800 as possible. The girl really likes the XD, which I also like for sure, but that doesn't leave much room for my gun (I'll have about $300 if she wants the XD), which will probably have me putting some cash out of pocket.

I will have to see if this store will give us a discount. If they dont, not like I can take my money elsewhere o: I haven't updated my County Fire I.D. yet but I will take my EMT license.

Dude, put it up on ar15 . . . i'm sure someone there will pay you cash for it.

but yea, 800 trade in is a heck of a deal for a basic AR
