the title is "sometimes i really question family values" then you follow by saying "i'm talking about specifically muslims / arabs and a certain case in particular:" if you werent talking about religion and race then why mention it?
And again no one is arguing that what this dude did is ok or justifyble. not from our point of view anywai... what we are saying is that all group will have extrimist. and this guy is just an extremist. but it's not the whole culture it's just this guy!

i never said a whole cultre, again if i thought that i would have said 'muslims' not some cultures ... culture doesnt have to mean one whole religious or racial group it can mean specific ... ya know like french-canadian culture or northern michigan culture ... small factions

what the heck does this have to do with religion? this could happen anywhere.... yes, christian buddhist, hindu doesnt matter anywhere... takes one person who is out of his mind.
yes iraq is going through fucking hell right now. think about how you'd feel if somebodys whole country was bombed over a few months and you ask them to recouperate. it is tough. shit like this will happen.

and not to further appear ignorant BUT women from what i've seen in mid eastern cultures are subservient to men ... if your husband tells you to do something and you disobey you're fucked ... and judging by this guys morals he would have no problem outright killing her if she didnt do it. so for all we know she thought she could get away once everyone left her to die

i know there are quite a few members on the board enlisted in the United States Military, some who have been to Iraq for the war. If you get a chance to goto Baghdad sometime in the near future or have gone in the recent past, you'd realize the American attack was no joke. their whole city is like in ruins. stating - we might have killed a few innocent people accidentally and blah is not even close to an explanation if you have been to Baghdad and have seen the carnage.
and we arent the only people that can ruin cities - i am sure israel and palestine look pretty nice around the border
