i still have a dial tv in my cabin h:

and we always keep a rotary phone in the cupboard at home for when the power goes out

One of the TV's in our family was from the beginning of time. It was a 20" tube but the TV itself was the size of a washer/dryer combo. It didn't have dials, rather it had a "scanner" that would scan through the channels and only stop if you make it stop.

Yes to both. But don't you still "dial" the phone even with a the touch-tone keypad?

All you have to have is a phone that's not a cordless. My old rotary finally died and we have a pushbutton in the basement for when the power is out.

When I had my washing machine delivered the guys doing the set up had to call their boss, couldn't get a line out on their cell phones, so I told them that they could use the rotary phone...They both looked at it and didn't know how it worked...

I still have a dial television at home, it was my parent's first color television when they moved to America and my first color television for my room. I think it is like a 35 year old TV.

yes on both. and i agree, you still dial even when you don't use a rotary phone.
