I grew up with a 13" dial tv that was b&w because it was all we could afford and my mom was actually against a tv in the house for the longest time.

I used to use rotary phones and actually hated it when you couldn't really get them anymore.

I personally don't think alll technological advances are a step forward.

Same here, Dave. The ones that had like a stereo in them from the late 60's. Then we got our 32" RCA from like 1986 - still works and outlasted our Sony Trinitron h:

Yes to both....my dad just got rid of his TV with the dial in his basement recently...and I think my mom still has a rotary phone laying around somewhere.

Both. We still have 2 dial tvs, although we don't use them.
