I've learned my lesson about checking first from the 1 time it happened to me, around 10yrs. ago, maybe more. I was at someone else's house, barely knew them, long story. I got done and there was nothing, and the only people home were asleep, so after some thought, I slowly made my way (hunched over taking baby steps) to their washer and dryer in the other room. Decided on a sock (or two can't remember) and that did the trick... I honestly don't remember if I threw it away (what I'm leaning towards) or put it in their hamper :ugh:
