I would format the drive on a PC. The Mac will have no problem seeing it after you format it Fat32.

make a partition that is less than 32gb in size if you want to format fat32. or use a 3rd party utility to format it.
macs seeing pcs better is irrelevant since it's not a pc. just a hdd.

fyi you can also use windows 98 boot disk to do it.. if you have one of those handy and know how to load the USB drivers for the hdd properly :rofl: not likely
