As of now I've only seen it used for downloading of content. That part is pretty cool. Once I try it I'll let you know though.

It's been awesome from me, never any problems except for the period of time Infinity Ward was doing some shit on their end and it was a bish to get on COD4 for a bit but other then that, no problems at all, I love it. Internet browsing is super simple, downloading, ps3 store, etc.... having both systems I never saw why people disliked the PS3's online system. :dunno:

the PS3 here is wired... whenever it tried to go on the internet, none of the other computers would be able to load a website and the ps3 would randomly drop connection (if you're at the store and stuff). Had to open up 5 ports on the router (only 10 slots available) so the ps3 didn't crash the internets

my cousin also turns it completely off (off switch on the back), so the ip changes sometimes making you go into the router settings and change the port ips. If you set the ip manually you'll be fine, or the ip might never change if you just leave it on standby

It's not your PS3. h:


I have mine connected wirelessly to a router on the 1st floor of the house (live on 2nd) and I connect withing 10 seconds, never dropped and the computer downstairs works perfectly fine. :dunno:

i was online with my ps2. when i did go i had to stop all my downloads and everything cause it seemed the ps2 anted to suck up every bit of bandwidth I had. it was a wired connection.

do you have the ports opened for it? maybe when it's wired it tries to overrule all
