I'm 1 mobo and CPU from wrapping this up. :yay:

I'm currently around $150 spent with $150 - $200 left. We'll see what I can do with the rest. These Fry's prices are untouchable right now. I haven't seen a quality part blow-out like this in a long time.


HDDs and components will be handed down.

 

Look at newegg, I got a Biostar motherboard (AM2) with an 4400 X2 processor for 130 a couple of weeks ago

just an FYI on Fry's ... they're fast. My case and PSU are at my doorstep already. That took about 1.5 days from time of order placement.

 

I wouldn't mind upgrading my RAM in my computer but I don't NEED to as I don't play any games on it. Though if I want to play the Unreal III that I got (:rick I do need to upgrade the RAM AND Video Card...:hs:

I've never seen them blow stuff out on a daily basis like this.

The MIR's are rough though. They need to be mailed in within 10 days of purchase. That includes weekends and shipment time too.

debated picking up a new case, found an antec for 60 with 40 MIR but i figured i could use my old case, its not that bad and in great shape ...

have 200gb hard drive, which is plenty sufficient since i keep all my important stuff on externals

now to find a deal on a motherboard and processor
