How so?

I admit I am not all knowing about computers but I have succesfully been capable of networking a couple dozen of them together and know enough to build, repair and operate a computer to a satisfactory degree.

All I am asking in this thread is if there is a way for the 360 to talk to and stream files from the Apple computers. This is not an out of the ordinary question because obviously others have asked it as well and someone even came up with a solution for this question.

So calling me into question over this is you trying to show off how big your brain is, when it really was a simple answer and you just didn't know the answer to give

Been fun but I am off to pick up my new car and possibly my new computer

i've used connect360 with the old xbox for a long time.

here's what it supports:
What formats are supported?

Connect360 supports MP3, AAC, WAV, AIFF and Apple Lossless for Music. For Photos, Connect360 supports: JPEG, RAW, GIF, PNG, BMP and TIFF. For video streaming, currently only WMV+WMA, AVI (DIVX/XVID), H.264 and MPEG4 files are supported (in MP4 and MOV containers).

So basically the same as linking it with a PC.

Have you had any issues with it at all?

Here's a thought....since it's unix based, can't you just setup a Samba server and connect w/ the XBOX360?

I know nothing about the 360's connection software, but if it is just looking for a windows file share, that should work i'd think.

What's the point of an extra computer for that if he has a mac?

There wouldn't be an extra computer. A samba server is like a service that runs on a unix box (which os x is based on) and translates unix filesystems so that Windows can access them.
