And in regards to compatibility with macs well you need to always check with hardware whether it works with something else or not because unless it specifically says "works with os x" your taking a chance.
This has zero to do with hardware compatibility and everything to do with software compatibility.

Not sure how you interface on your network but aside from actually connecting to the network itself (basic shit) you interface to other computers through software and not hardware

You can use Connect360. The only thing is right now it just streams mp3s and jpgs. Plus it costs money.

I'll try to find a copy and test it with the iMac and let you know john

Cause you need hardware to network aka network adapter and some people might want to add wireless.

Cool thanks Jae all I really want is to stream MP3s anyways so that is exactly what I need.

Might have to see if there is a "freeware" beta version out there :rick:

This is a stupid conversation. Seriously if I didn't already have a network setup I couldn't use the 360 with my current setup like I do.

I am not in grade school and need my hand held through the most basic of processes, the network card is part of the comp and last I knew was included with every comp purchased since 99.

Connect360 claims WMV compatibility as well. It's only $20 to register after the demo expires.
