Dude, I hear the Philippines is ripe with hot sluts. Not offense to anyone that is Philippino, but some of the things that a few Marines said about place when they were over there made me want to take a vacation h:

Not really sure, never got into detail with stuff like that. She's in the Army and stationed in Fort Lewis, Washington. She lives on the base there. She going for communications. I hope she won't be in one of those stupid HUM-V's that always get fucked up by car bombs. My boy who's in the Army (my gf's cousin) leaves for Iraq next summer too for a year I think.

So, let's see.
  • Does an AF recruit have to take the ASVAB? Yep.
  • Does that recruit have to go to MEPS? Yep.
  • Does that same recruit have to have his balls checked by some crusty old doctor? Yes :hsugh:
  • Does he go through the same background check? Yes.
  • Is he sworn in using the same Oath of Enlistment? Yes.
  • Does this recruit have to go to Basic and get yelled at by a TI? Yep. :happysad:
  • Is he employed by the government? Yes.

True, Basic is probably a day at the park compared to the other branches. So what, the Air Force is still a gear in the machine that is the military force.

It's a hell of alot harder to join the AF compared to the other branches nowadays. You really have to impress them.

My call with the info regarding job selection (from my top 5 choices) and ship date for Basic are due any day now. I chose from the Communications and Intelligence AFSCs.

Ranked greatest to least:
3C231 - Communication - Computer Systems Control
3C031 - Communication - Computer Systems Operations
1N631 - Electronic Systems Security Assessment
1N531 - Electronic Signal Intelligence Exploitation
3C331 - Communication - Computer Systems Planning & Implementation

1N6X1 is what I wanted Good luck!

And I will say with confidence that Air Force BMT is "harder" in that you have much less time to conform to military mindset AND physical prowess. I was in for 6 weeks, but now it's 8 weeks and you get issued ABU's :happysad:
