for your chains, you should only have two black rubber bands, with a handfull of clips on them
clip the chains around the back side of the tire first, then clip the front side, then use the bands to take up all the slack on the front
I followed the link in the bottom right corner of the vid and it said Washington state. I just guessed...

Chains? Seriously? I think you're getting overexcited about snow.

You'll be fine as long as your tires have some tread left and your car isn't seriously defective in some way

we believe in you :ghey:

I live in Iowa, I don't even own any chains. Drive slow, you'll be fine.

in some parts chains are mandatory when entering Nevada, will you can rent them to on the side of the road, or pay one of those guys 20 bucks and he can put them on.

Oh. You don't need chains. Snow tires maybe, but I opted to not replace my snow tires this year. They're just too wonky in the rain.

I live in Buffalo. It snows a few times a week from mid december - march (and sometimes April, and at least once in early May).

But they're really atrocious when it's raining. And bad when it's dry. It's just not worth it for me. If I lived south of Buffalo where it's actually hilly and it snows more I wouldn't be driving on "performance" all season tires, but the Northtowns get very little snow in comparison, and it's very flat.
