Where can I get this ON? I also find GNC chunky and they only carry chocolate or vanilla in giant tubs for weight gainer.

Hey Skells where did you hear this? I was at GNC today and the packaging did look similar. I looked for any badging from ON but nothing. Just curious if you heard this from a credible source :hs:

I saw GNC brand creatine today for 20 bucks. Looking for cheaper?

There, I just saved you a bunch of money.
If you think that then you have no clue what you're talking about

I buy it from www.prosource.net. You can find it on bodybuilding.com also and a bunch of other places. The prices are all pretty similar. I already have an account with prosource so I stick with them. Just go to brands and search Optimum Nutrition. Go to their Gold Standard protein. You will not regret it

GNC sells ON.....ON has recently changed the way their labels look.

I buy my ON from allstarhealth.com

Sometimes they don't have it....sometimes they don't have certain flavors...it's hit or miss.

Untrue. Look at the labels and amino acid profiles...they are different.

well as of when I stopped working out in early 04 I did know more than a little, I just never saw the point of it outside of competitive uses. Also from a health perspective I grew weary that creatine might cause someone to get burnt out quicker in the long run.

Granted I am curious, and eager to get back my old weight. So maybe now that more extensive research has been done I will try it out when I finally renew my gym membership in a few days.

Creatine = Only use creatine if you have water retention problems or if you want your muscles to look "stuffed". You can usually spot the creatine users at the gym by the shape of their muscles alone. Can be used to push past a plateau, but taking a 2-4 week break can be more beneficial and is cheaper

Protein = ON 100% Whey is the way to go. Beginning and end of discussion on this.

If you want to suppliment beyond this, the only things I can recommend are: L-Glutamine powder, L-Arginine, ALA (50mg or so), and green tea.

That's what I use beyond regular protein powder. L-Glutamine is an abundant amino acid in your muscles and I've found it to help with soreness. ALA and Green tea serve as antioxidants, and green tea has a moderate caffiene boost. I also take 2g L-Arginine in the mornings and an hour before working out, as this one has a multitude of benefits to people working out.
