uhhh Rick you're wrong either way
It is a physical zone that begins at the sign not before. It's one of those things that is easy to forget or ignore because most people only follow the laws that are convenient to their needs.

The document is a DOT document not code enforcement document. The two are completely different. IMO it doesn't verify or dismiss what I said.
even if it were an increase, the speed is still restricted. As it is everywhere in the US.

You are in a 45mph zone until you pass the sign designating the beginning of the 55mph zone.

the word restricted is used differently as in decreased.

i'm not arguing that the physical zone begins at the sign for signage. i'm not going to keep discussing this. i'll follow the law as i know it and you guys do the same

this thread is the worst ever. Dude just because you can see the sign doesn't mean you can accelerate up to that speed. I can see red lights way before I get to them. Should I stop in the middle of the road because the light is red 300 feet ahead?
