Hmmm. Try bringing 360 resolution down to 720p. I have a theory that when the Xbox sends too much signal, it creates lag.

You might win more of these fist to fist battles now.

 

Run it down to 460p and use R/W/Y cables for the best quality and no lag. h:

 

Every TV reacts differently ... cheaper TV's have HDMI lag ... others work hard to output 1080p.

In my case:
720p
component cables
1280 x 720 resolution on a 1366 by 768 screen


I tried the exact same configuration with HDMI and it screwed me up badly. Shotty Snipers was a nightmare.

 

I remember when you went through that frustration. I too am on component cables.
