Every TV reacts differently ... cheaper TV's have HDMI lag ... others work hard to output 1080p.

In my case:
720p
component cables
1280 x 720 resolution on a 1366 by 768 screen


I tried the exact same configuration with HDMI and it screwed me up badly. Shotty Snipers was a nightmare.
