Subject: Re: Your ***** Trouble Ticket has been closed - (00513310)

My problem has not gone away. I downloaded AVG as
directed by the tech rep. AVG ran a 1 and a half
hour full virus scan and found no,
repeat no viruses.
I cut power to the computer and then restored the power. My computer
automatically rebooted. My computer was still in virus alarm. I ran a
virus scan on the file I was defragmenting when your
virus protection went into alarm and it found 9 alarms.
I am now running a complete virus scan on the rest of
my computer an I will let you know of the results of
this scan. Please don't close my trouble ticket 00513310
until I have completely removed your virus alarm from
my computer. Based on the information I have so far
I suspect a conflict with your virus protection program and my defragment
program. I am still working on this
problem (for you) and I keep you updated on my
progress.
Your help is greatly appreciated

I'm glad he repeated that he had no viruses. I couldn't read the first time he wrote it.

I completed the virus scan on the rest of my computer
and found no viruses. I then noticed the (cut off virus alarm)
tab and did just that.
I now have no virus alarms and I am satisfied that I
have no viruses in my computer now.
You can now close ticket 00513301. Thank you very much for your help.

You'd think the subject of the first email he replied to "Your trouble ticket has been closed" would have told him we already closed the ticket.

Should reply with something like "This case has already been closed, no further updates are allowed. Please open a new case if you are having a problem that you want us to work on."
