not wearing a condom is just plan dumb if you don't want a kid. Sure they can break or tear, but if you don't want a kid its the best thing you as a man can do to protect yourself aginst that. I'm sketched out even when a woman tells me she's on the pill. I make sure I wear a condom, a kid is that last thing I want in my life right now. there are no sure things, stuff happens. you need to protect yourself as much as you can if you don't want a kid. even if you get her on the pill there is no sure thing it will work completly. if you continue to have unprotected sex something is going to happen if your ready for the kid or not. your have already made the unconsious decision to have a kid by not protecting yourself.

Yea I understand what you're saying and there is no 100% safe protection other than not having sex. I know not wearing one is risky but i've tried it & it just doesn't work for me but i'll look into other brands/types. In the meantime, that's why we're considering bc cause it's better to have a 20% chance than 90% chance of her getting preg so we're in the process of working things out.

My girl got pregnant while she was on the BC patch. Now I am having a kid. All I'm going to tell you is if you're in doubt, PULL IT OUT!

 

my wife was on the pill for a few years now... sex is the last thing on her mind.

She stopped taking it for a month now and I see a marked improvement. Not huge, but improvement. But now there's the chance of babies.

So for her, the pill works by making her not want any.

 

Yea i've heard of it too.....her doc told her to take it cause she was having problems with her period. I don't remember what it's called that she has. :thinking:
