Default What's your take on birth control???

Me and my gf are talking about taking birth control. We decided that we'd go to her doc to see what they say/recommend cause each female is different.

We just want some added protection cause we haven't used condoms in about a year. I absolutely hate them, I can be fucking for literally hours and hours cause the sensation isn't there. I've used those ultra thin/sensitive ones and they don't work either.

Anyway, although I would love to have a kid with her, i'd prefer to have one later in the future and not now. How many of your gf's or s/o take them and what are your experiences with them? For example: side-affects, mood swings, she got preg lol, etc......

The pill sucks for a lot of women. She could skip her period for months, have heavy bleeding, NOT get her period on time, hella moodswings.....

Edit: But to answer your question, if she's ok with it, and is open about how it affects her body with her doctor, then go for it.

She will be affected in the beginning of the pill. But it does allow for more protection without other actions.

If she is for it, and she is safe on the pills then I say go for it.

My girls uses the ring. She still gets moody the week its out for her period, but other then that its like its not even there.

She's sucks at taking pills and she did the patch before but it gave her really bad mood swings.

No babies yet.
