we used to have a crockpot. first one crapped out and was replaced for free under a recall. then the replacement crapped out and we haven't had one since. too bad, we made a damn good chili in that thing.

I love my crock-pot. My favorite things to make in it are:

BBQ beans
Carnitas
Chili (my mom's recipe)
Cheese dip

Going to try making some green chile in there soon. :yumyum:

Descoware cast iron > crock pot. Throw a chicken in this with whatever veggies @ 350 for a couple of hours, and you're set.

rack of ribs, bbq sauce for several hours in a crockpot.

throw them on the grill after for like ten minutes to crisp them up.

Well you start it in the morning when you leave the house for work or school...then it smells up the house cooking all day long and when you walk in when you get home you're met by the glorious odors of what's been cooking all day.

No shit, genius. lol

With the dutch oven it cooks faster, but does the same shit. Plus you'll get a little crisp on the skin if you do it right.
