I just bottled the beer It filled up 43 bottles (I was very picky about how much I filtered off because I didn't want a lot of sediment in the beer).

I drank the equivalent of 1-2 bottles. It's pretty good :yumyum: No off flavors or anything like that. It tastes a lot like Guinness except the texture is a little bit different (Guinness is bottle with CO2 and Nitrogen and this isn't carbonated yet). It should be carbonated and ready to drink next week. I am very happy with the way it turned out. I was a little nervous because this was my first time but all went well.

It has some carbonation. Very little though.

I think ours should be done this weekend.

It develops the carbonation after bottling so it should be carbonated in 7-10 days. It was either try it like that or wait and I couldn't resist

But I checked my final gravity so I know it was done fermenting and then I added the correct amount of sugar that the kit called for so I really don't think they will explode. But if they do they are in a box in the basement so we will be safe.

Our wine has a couple more weeks before it will be ready.

Oh well, I can wait for something that good.
