Bring it. I've got 850 lbs of gas left (hour and a half straight of welding) and it's only $25 to refill. I just got 2 new nozzles and a new spool of wire. I can do anything up to 1/4" steel. Can't do Aluminum. I got a full tank of Kerosene for the heater and can roll the contents of the garage out whenever.

'been meaning to post these. The engine's in a more complete stage with all the sensors, fuel system, ignition and stuff bolted down tight. The wiring is done inside and out. I need to make 2 rear brake lines before I can drop the engine in. The transmission is finished being cleaned up. It's flippin' beautiful!

Also... this is a bit off-topic, but my garage is currently clogged up with the GSX which is about to get a new transmission (tranny #4). I finally pulled that beesh this past weekend. At least this one made it through 30k miles and 40 or so drag passes while holding up 357awhp. While it sux that I have to keep doing this, it is a Mitsubishi, and for a Shitsubishi that's not so bad.

Here's the chunk missing from the bottom case under the ring gear. That's where all the gear oil went.

The motor's held up by one engine mount and a block of wood on teh crossmember.

This is how I remember where all the bolts went.

I'm picking up a flare kit and brake lines tomorrow. I took the day off to file taxes and do my billing so I can afford all the shit I have going on. I hope to get a little more done with it this weekend, maybe drop the motor and transmission in it.

Nice cardboard template, I've never thought of doing that And :chuckles: at the hole in the transmission case. Reminds me of my buddy's old SPG Saab that would explode transmissions out onto the road every so often.

I can't wait to drive it up to Tony's house and show you at the next meat.

It's going slow because of work, home renovation projects, and weather issues while the GSX clogging up the garage. I've only had one good-weather weekend in the past 2 months, but I'm glad the days are getting longer and warmer now. Stuff should start happening faster now.

You like that? I used to bag-n-tag everything, but that's too much work! Saab! Oh Joy!
