How to avoid paying Coinstar 9% of your change.
Oh really, is that how it works? My God, I had no idea. So what if a grocery store goes through that much in change? It's 9% of spare change. It shouldn't be a lot to one person although people around here seem to disagree.
Ok, so even if it isn't a lot of money, you don't mind just throwing 10, 20, and 30 bucks away? That'll buy you a meal or two, or a tank of gas. But hey man, if that doesn't interest you feel free to paypal me 20 bucks.
Some people are just meticulous about things like change. You can tell alot about people who pay close attention to detail, and always go for the best option. There the people who know how to save money, get good deals on things, and in turn live much happier than the person living paycheck to paycheck.
On a side note, I doubt any business (i.e. Laundromat, Vending Service) would resort to exchanging their coin's for a 9% fee.
