Apparently you don't know how commerce works. I've seen grocery stores go through $5,000 in change in a month. I've seen laundromats bring in $1,000 in quarters in a matter of one week.
It adds up.
Oh really, is that how it works? My God, I had no idea. So what if a grocery store goes through that much in change? It's 9% of spare change. It shouldn't be a lot to one person although people around here seem to disagree.
