400hp is very attainable for with a decent ar sized T3/T4 turbo teamed with a gsr block. You'll have to go at least with 550cc on the squirters if you want that number. Expect to boost in the neighborhood of 14-17psi on 91-93oct

I would go 600 and dumb them down to needed levels, better to leave room to grow than top out from the start.

True, at those levels boost can get addicting. I had a brain fart, I forgot I used to run 754cc MSD squirters in mine...however if you go too big the tuning resolution can be affected

i met chris at importbuilders..but when it was atomic a la dr. charles.

anyway yeah, those tony the tiger builds are freagn awesome, its a testament to his fabrication/tuning abilities as well.

not to stomp on chris' advice, but the 550cc will be close to being maxed out at 400whp. and the price difference between 750 and 550's is very little...BUT 750cc's are a bit more difficult to idle...so it depends on your tuner's ability

but what everyone else said above is great advice.

boost @ any level is addicting h:

someone with a torquey 250whp NA 4 that is super quiet needs to hit me up so I'm not so biased towards FI.

Yeah 700+ is huuuggeee and a lot of tuning to hit an idle mark, then it is never quite right still.

I wouldn't do it on a DD car or one hitting the street with any regularity, but if it is track only then go for it and I hope you have the money for a lot of dyno time to get it right. It's real easy to detune a set of injectors and end up lean on the top end, with those kinds of numbers it can be a quickly blown head if you don't catch it.

Not sure what mine hits still but it has some umph when I hit the gas and let her breathe. Still need to tune her a bit for a slight leaning at the top on pump but on 104 or better theres no issues at all.
