So I went into safe mode, both printers were gone. I rebooted into reg mode, and it now pops up the windows installer for my new printer....but it's not even hooked up! I unplugged it a half hour ago trying to fix all this shit.

It is now giving me this error after it tries to install a printer that is not connected, and was deleted earlier:

I would have rebooted before I started deleting shit :hs:

Did you get it working, yet? If you have to reinstall the drivers, I'd do it from the website vs. using the disks that came with the printers.

I'm currently downloading the new drivers, and uninstalling all the printer software currently on the computer.

Best thing to do. Even better would be rebooting after it tells you installation was successful.

I always looked at downloading drivers as going to the grocery store. Installing is putting the groceries away. Rebooting is washing your hands before you started cooking (starting the app)

Might be dumb, but gives a good reference.
