As I wrote earlier - w/ an Audi one can also get AWD (in fact the best AWD system on the market - hands down), a turbo or decent V6 or V8, incredible real world driving capability (braking, steering response, handling, etc), beautiful refined interiors, and subtle - no cop-bait exteriors that will not look dated in a year or two - (however, Audi's new big-gulp 'corporate' grill on the '06s kinda sucks, though), and lots of aftermarket support. And, they can be had as reasonably-priced Audi-certified used cars w/ a warranty out to 100k miles. And they're quiet, too.
Next snow storm - a really bas-ass one is ideal, and when the roads haven't been plowed yet - test drive one if you can get into a dealer thru the snow. No, I do not have one in my household - wish I did, but our gen6 Accord coupe, gen2 Teg, and GMC pickup (hey this is the South- gotta have a truck), are serving us fine, but one of these days, we'll have another Audi. They'll bring a smile to your face - esp in the rain or the snow - just make sure it's an Audi w/ Quattro. . .
And, yeah, I've been waiting for Honda/Acura to come out w/ an AWD system in something other than an RL, CRX, MDX, Pilot, or the Ridgeline (yuck x 2). If they put any more hp under the hood of the next gen Accord, they'll have to in order to make it driveable, as there's just so much power you can transmit w/ a front-wheel drive system, even if most Hondas are lacking in the torque department.
That's the last 2 cents I have for this; I'm outa money.
