Nice.

I was adding 10lbs a week to my bench. o: I went up pretty quickly.

After the 27th I'm gonna try lifting again. I jacked up my shoulder in December, haven't lifted since then. I have a playing test to start becoming a pro on the 27th....so after that I'm gonna see how it feels.

So what is better?
4-5 sets, 5-8 reps per set at a heavy weight
or
pyramiding, starting at the same heavy weight, increasing the weight with each set doing a set of 3 with 12/5-8/1-4 reps respectively
I am never going to get huge cause I don't have the dedication but I need to get a bit bigger / toned. I also only do the circuit weights / cable machines because I am too nervous to do free weights on my own

I'm not a big fan of pyramiding....but different rep structures work better for different people. I found that I gained best by doing 4-6 reps and using heavier weight. I would use enough weight so that I could do at least 4 reps, but no more than 6. If you want to bulk up, heavy weight and low reps is the way to go. I would do 9 total sets per muscle group, with varying exercises.
