Default Just made a homemade salsa...

Its chilling right now... but I had a taste. Its pretty good, perfect spice level.

I threw in 2 Japs, 2 Habaneros and 1 Whole Serrano. Tomatillios, bit of lemon, oil, salt and cilantro. Its a green salsa.

The good part is after you strain it you get the clearish liquid... great as a hot sauce too!

I prefer the aroma that the Chinese gives off. Japs have a bitter taste.

:chuckles:

I am in Florida now... so it doesnt count.

You heard of Xnipec? I think its a traditional tomatoe and habanero salsa... I am going to try that next. Also I have a recipie for a Habanero, Tomatillo and Orange salsa

Throw some tips my way, as this is my first one and I am sure I could do something to make it better.

nope, haven't heard of that. I'm actually not a big fan of salsa frescas. I like blended salsas that are really hot. My dad uses a tomato and onion in his salsa, along with other ingredience, good times
