Default Damn Ipod!!!

A few days ago while trying to listen to my ipod it froze, and would not shut off. I wound up resetting it. After that it would not turn back on. I plugged it into an outlet and it still did not turn on. I took it to a apple store, and the technician did the same thing I did, and told me it is out of warranty and there's nothing I can do. Any of you had this problem? I've had the thing for year and 2 mmonths, and I don't use it much. It's a 20gb, no color ipod

So wait...it's the hard drive that's bad and not the battery? Were you under warranty when you sent it back?

I have to agree. I should've known. I used it maybe seven times while lifting weights, but only slow controlled movements. But that was probably enough to do it in. If I can get them to fix it, I'm just gonna sell it.

The other day my iPod video froze while trying to watch a video. It also make this annoying "click" noise when switching to the next track.

I had a similar problem. Happened about 1 year and 1 months after I got it. Luckly I purchased AppleCare for it.

Took it to the apple store last Friday and they gave me a new one. I would reccomend AppleCare to anyone getting an iPod. I've always had a good experience with Apple's customer service.

an easier, more cost effective solution is to not buy a hard disk based portable media player in the first place.

Honestly, I havent had many problems with them at all. Black, how do you propose we go about storing 60GB + of data on a non-HD base device?

Yeah, thats what I thought.

It's simple, reliably you don't, at least not yet but if you need to cary around more than 1GB of music, you've got way too much time on your hands and need to be doing something other than listening to your ipod.
