Bang the side of it up against a sturdy hard book. I think these 20 gig non color ones are pieces of trash. I already had it replaced once since the hard drive died on me...i got the second one prolly back in october once i finally got it back from apple and i was listening to my ipod in the car when it started skipping....i looked down and it was just wizzing through each file....i couldnt turn it off so i reset it....BAM corrupted database....all 3000+ songs gon.....ooooo i was heated
