Another thing to consider... the cost of tires.
205/45 R16 is an astoundingly common size...as I recently discovered.
You may not have as many choices with 205/40 R17.
My vote?
* Left-most rim (see your original post), 16x7".
* BFGoodrich gForce Traction Z in 205/45 R16.
* A camber correction kit will be mandatory at your ride height. I'd argue that it's too low. Any chance of raising the car 3/4th of an inch?
