The drop isn't too low. I'm just below 2" and I only rub on u-turns with 205's. Height of the car has nothing to do with rim/tire selection. There's a correct size tire to run with the diameter wheel he chooses...whether it be 14, 15, 16, 17, no matter how much a car is dropped. On civics integras, anything wider than 205 will rub.

I'm not saying to get this particular wheel for your car, but get a wheel that has a similar design to it. Notice how the spokes of the wheel go all the way to the edge of the rim. This gives the illusion that the wheel looks bigger than it actually is.

With some of the wheels that you were showing, they had a lip and the spokes didn't go all the way to the edge of the rim making it look smaller.

These are the same size wheels, but notice how the first wheel 'looks' bigger than the second wheel?

Others have already mentioned the other adavantages of having a 16" wheel (tire choice, availability, pricing, ride comfort, etc.).

Personally, I like the look of a 16" wheel with a polished lip on a lowered civic coupe. 15" wheels looks good on hatches (especially when it's really low).
dont listen to randytasky. he doesnt know anything about wheels.

that being said, you should get a set of SSR GP-O's h:

#3 in 17's with 205/40

Rubbing should not be an issue with proper offset. Even if there is rubbing just roll the fenders and it will be fine.

and 17's look just fine on a lowered civic

well im estimating. it may not be that low. it may only be 2 in the front and 1.75 in the rear. i just measured the spring height compared to the orig suspension and measured accordingly and then made minor adjustments when the springs were installed by taking measurments from the hub to the edge of the wheel wells untill the fronts matched and the rears matched. i never scrape and there is roughly a half an inch of space from the top of my tire to the edge of the wheel well in the front and an inch in the back. i have never rubbed (tires are 185's tho) and never had the uca bump the strut towers in the front. i am going with 16's based on looks. 17's just look insanely large even with the car lowered. i went to car domain and checked some other civics with 17's and it does look stupid plus i have omni full coil over and my ride is rough already so the higher profile tire sounds like a better choice. Since i orig budgeted for 17's, now i can spend more on tires. thanks guys. i hate to say this but if it wasn't for your insight and knowledge i might have been a ricer. thanks for the guidance...
