I've seen lowered Civics and Tegs w/ 17s and think they still look way too big. But it's personal preference, I guess.

i would go with 16's but the styles i like rarely come in 16". infact i have had a hard time finding good selection in 16" for my car. just seems that 17" are more plentiful in both stock and selection. anyone have a good site or two where they have a good selection of 16" rims? please no tirerack or wheelmax.

ok, i just went to tirerack just to finalize my decision of either going with 16" or 17". well you are right, 16's do look better, i agree. so now i just need to start over and find some 16" rims that look good.

Good choice going with the 16's. But if you do like the look of a bigger wheel, get something similar to this design;

I'm not saying to get this particular wheel for your car, but get a wheel that has a similar design to it. Notice how the spokes of the wheel go all the way to the edge of the rim. This gives the illusion that the wheel looks bigger than it actually is.

With some of the wheels that you were showing, they had a lip and the spokes didn't go all the way to the edge of the rim making it look smaller.

These are the same size wheels, but notice how the first wheel 'looks' bigger than the second wheel?

Others have already mentioned the other adavantages of having a 16" wheel (tire choice, availability, pricing, ride comfort, etc.).

Personally, I like the look of a 16" wheel with a polished lip on a lowered civic coupe. 15" wheels looks good on hatches (especially when it's really low).

Second of all, dipshit, one doesn't have to have owned a Civic to give an opinion on which rims look good on them or which rims will fit.
and Third, cocksmoker, shut you wannabe baller mouth...you're already a damn joke around here as it is, and you just make yourself look even stupider each time you post.

hahah, I am a joke? Look at yourself in the mirror.

set ur ego aside and take it to the damn pms quit being a whore and :gtfo: of here ass. i think he needs some warning points for that stupid ass post he had also h:

dubcac u sure he wont rub with 17s on 40s? hes dropped 2 1/4"
i know for sure ud rub on a G2 teg with 17s on 40s with a 2 1/4" drop and from wat i hear, that integra and this year civic are similar :dunno:

then also about the whole 16 or 17 thing, some cars are designed to have 17s some only 16s. i think integras and civics with 17s are just to big, they dont fit the body correctly and look off.

2 1/4" he's gonna rub with anything that's a 205 most likely, at least on u-turns. 205/40/17 and 205/45/16 are nearly identical overall tire diameters. I would go with 16's, just because I think 17's look too big.

^and 45s will give u a better ride quality (not as rough)

and if u increase ur height u will b able to run a better selection rim/tire. 205 i think is a must if u upgrade rims...and ur drop i think is to low :hs:
