It's not the TD that shouldn't have been...cause Vince would have scored anyways. I'd say it was more the 4th down stop that Texas had (or the bad call by the coaching staff to go for it), and the face mask that gave them the first down.

yeah, although it's hard to say for absolute sure that they would have gotten 7. i mean, they had to settle for 3 before. and their kicker missed a pat. hard to say for certain.

but yeah, the 4th down, and that facemask where huge too.

Cocky indeed. That guy runs around the field with the ball in one hand ... if USC was any decent on D, they could have forced a few more fumbles.
Everyone gets their ass wiped in the NFL. At leats a little bit, part of rookiedom. The difference between Vince and Vick is Vince can throw.
Wow what an end to that game. I havent enjoyed a football game that much in years.

where was an early helmet to helmet with the USC guy losing his ... I thought he was a dead man for a second.

M.L. tends to leave his WR's hanging out to dry.

They should have corner/safety blitzed from both sides...that's the only way they could've put pressure on Vince. Whenever they brought the blitz, it was either up the middle, or from one side...and always picked up by the tail/fullbacks. They also should've put a spy on Vince, who would be responsible for following his ass everywhere. They gave him wayyyyyyy too much space to run. It was more the defensive play calling by Pete Carroll IMO, than the defense itself...aside from the tackling.
you hit the nail on the head!!!!! you have to send in a corner blitz , and have a spy... the guy likes to run to his right that corner or OLB should have been in his face all day!!!!!!
