It's not that USC's defense is bad...they forced a lot of fumbles that they couldn't recover. Plain and simple, they couldn't tackle. They didn't make the big plays they usually play. They should have corner/safety blitzed from both sides...that's the only way they could've put pressure on Vince. Whenever they brought the blitz, it was either up the middle, or from one side...and always picked up by the tail/fullbacks. They also should've put a spy on Vince, who would be responsible for following his ass everywhere. They gave him wayyyyyyy too much space to run. It was more the defensive play calling by Pete Carroll IMO, than the defense itself...aside from the tackling.
you hit the nail on the head!!!!! you have to send in a corner blitz , and have a spy... the guy likes to run to his right that corner or OLB should have been in his face all day!!!!!!
