I'm an nVidia user, myself, and I have been for several years. Before my first nVidia (an old GeForce 256) I was running Matrox. One of the contribuiting factors now in buying a video card is "compatability" with chipsets. nVidia video card + nVidia nForce chipset runs absolutely spectacularly and is very stable. The only problems I ever had was on a small PSU, only 400W, but since I went bigger (550W modular) I haven't had any problems.

Awsome pics Grif, the difference is stunning.

Thanks guys for all the input, I was gonna go super cheap and get a $80 card, but for $125 I can get a 6600GT so that's the route i'm going, since my mobo has an nVidia chipset
