soreness != good workout

although i would try to do more shoulder workouts. either:
more reps with less breaks
or just do more techniques until your shoulders are poop tired

the amount of wt may or may not be an issue..it may be your form..or u may be using other muscles to compensate for the shoulders..

and yes u should have some soreness if u r just starting out.. u will get use to it and the soreness goes away..or if u change the wt amount that can cause soreness..

may depend when u work them in your routine..if u work them first u may not get soreness. i work mine last in the tape i follow and mine will hurt just from use..

What exercises are you doing for shoulders? The shoulder muscles should be the primary muscles used, but there will always be secondary muscles used...arm/chest muscles. If your shoulders aren't sore but other body parts are, either your form is bad, you're doing the wrong workouts, or you're not working them hard enough.

i think it's your form. even now im still making corrections to my form. anyway it sounds like you're not targeting them directly. what exercises are you doing and are you using free weights? after a shoulder workout, i cant even raise my arms the next day.
