I have a 135 gallon tank, 15 inches is too big for a 55 gal. Cannister filters are way better in my experience, you cnnot have too much filtration. I would agree with the need to set them up from the start, if you try to add fish later, they will be cut to pieces by the existing population

okay so i got 2 new ones today and i thought they were the same size as the ones i already had... but no.. they are considerably bigger... one of my little guys is already dead. the pretty one

okay wtf.. one of my fish just did a fucking dive bomb from the surface of the water straight head first into the gravel.. and now he's all fucked up... laying on his side on the bottom of the tank.

are they suicidal? :happysad:

hahah. they tunnel in the gravel. mine have never done it f/ that high up! hope he's ok!
