we have 2 yellows left, a big blue w very faint stripes, 2 small blues w/ dark stripes and 2 brown w/ darker brown stripes....

its weird how you can see the insides on the yellows! they are just cool fish.

 

I have actually just decided to pick up another baby pleco today. Our new condo is so sunny that the one baby cant clean well enough. When they grow i'll move one in w/ the angelfish. thank god for their shell like back!

 

plecos are sweet. I used to have a huge algae problem before buying mine. they grow like weeds though.

 

yea, thats why im gonna get the 2nd....my aquarium is under a window and even blocked off, the algae is bad. i figure I can always move one out of the tank when they grow since I have 2 'fish' tanks. (also have a turtle tank and a small goldfish tank)

 

im going this evening to get some more tank mates for my guys.

my only advice is to not put them in with anything you don't want to get eaten.

 

i keep seeing "eyelids" when i see this thread. :dunno:

 

I just spoke w/ the guy at another fish store, and they agreed that those cichlids are better in numbers....they said either do bare minimum, or overstock it to avoid super-aggressive behavior.

They don't necessarily have to be other cichlids.

 

what else can i have with em?
