We have to realize we all have to work together to protect ourselves, and every person's imput counts. And if that smart decision is to decide to reduce your gasoline consumption by half, and just half of the US makes the same decision, the impact would be monumental.



But yeah, the reason we haven't switched to a cleaner fuel is that the people in power would start to lose money, and so they prioritize their money over our health. That's the way its been for the last 20 years or so...
