minimum wage here is $5.15 (or close to it), so I'd be content making 12.75 to bullshit on the phone with stupid people in an airconditioned office...

but then again, I make $7.14 an hour to detail cars

I make 11.75 to sit and download files from hospitals across the state. Minimum wage i think has been boosted to $6 im not sure though. Im looking for a new job anyway. I mean i dont do any work most of the time, that's why im always on here. But i dont get paid alot and i need money for my car and for my soon to have apt.

 

dayum, i make 9 for serving coffee. bayarea's inflated prices, lol

 

My friend worked for a small spice company at their wharehouse loading trucks with a forklift. They got a new general manager and she was an uber****. (really, she was german) Another of our friends was the wharehouse manager. Anyway, the General manager was always riding the wharehouse manager's ass and one day she called him into the office and really chewed him out for nothing. He snapped and called her a **** and told her to go **** herself. Obviously she fired him, probably her plan all along. Anyway, the rest of the wharehouse workers, lead by my other friend, all hated her and loved him so they went apeshit in the wharehouse with the forklifts and destroyed the place. So they all got fired too, and the guys on the other shifts all quit. So they had no workers and no manager and consequently, no wharehouse. They went out of business about a month later. LOL!!!!

cost of living isn't that bad in az actually. average houses cost around $100-$140k, which is pretty cheap compared to alot of the surrounding states. If i can get a job makin about 40k, I could live comfortable here. It's just a lil rough for me because of child support. It's just my roommate (best friend) and me living in a brand 3 bedroom/2 bath house, and we make it..barely.

 

yeah, $100k-$140k gets you a nicer house here... San Antonio is one of the largest citys in the country for such a cheap cost of living, but then again, the job market here sucks...

either you're miliatary, medical industry, or food industry.

I always judged living costs with appartment prices.... A 1bed 1bath 600sqft appartment averages around $400 a month...

 

yea, thats damn cheap for a house, the neighbor across from us is selling their house for 750k. i bet once the economy is up to its fullest, then our neighborhood could probably be around a mil. thats insane.
