They just fired my boss. He's one of the coolest people here, and his wife is about to have a baby this week.

load of bullshit. this company is going down, and they don't care who's life they **** with.

So why fire him just lay him off so he can be eligible for unemployment. I hate people who have all the power and then let it go to there head.

He can still get unemployment no matter if he was fired or laid off. If he was laid off.. he may have gotten a severence package. If he was fired due to some violation (i.e. non-compete, insubordination) he has to wait 6 weeks before he can collect.

At least in NJ.

you can't fire someone just because they have too many supervisors. Either he got laid off or there is something more to the story..

i think you guys are a little confused. arizona is a "right to work" state. which means they can fire you for any reason they want.
