Spend that same $15K on a DB7/ DB8 Integra & a few mods..and you'll have a machine that will east the XRS alive on any road. And look infinitely better doing it.

My coworker just bought one and it looks clean as fawk and he owes nothing on it since he traded in his Nissan Xterra for it. It looks clean too.
You won't get a Corolla XRS for $15k. The trick is that the "base price" is listed as $17,455 but Toyota only builds the car with a certain combo of options (codes MR, PO, EV and CK, if you'd like to check edmunds.com) which adds up to a sticker price of $20,245. Invoice on that option combo including freight is $18,163. The only factory incentive for the month of August is available 2.9% APR financing up to 60 months for qualified buyers, and since the car is produced in such low numbers dealerships are in no rush to move them (my store has gotten a total allocation of two cars, one of which has been sold, and we average 400-450 units per month). So yeah, $15k would be a stretch to say the least.

.... Mike, you've been at the Toyota dealer and/or stuck on Edmunds options pricing pages far too long. You may now translate the MR, PO, EV, and CK codes into something at least resembling English, before I have to load up a new window for Edmunds or close Temple of VTEC in order to do so.
We offer the Prius with NINE option packages but only build three.
GET THE FEELING - TOYOTA
MR - sunroof, seat-mounted side airbags, side curtain airbags
PO - power windows, keyless entry
EV - 6-disc in-dash CD changer
CK - "all weather guard package" (windshield molding, heavy duty heater, rear heat ducts)
