Default Toyota Corolla XRS

What do you guys think of the new Toyota Corolla XRS it looks pretty clean. Has 170 hp and a 1.8L motor. The car itself looks pretty light, I believe it's a lot lighter then the Scion TC and has more HP. Anybody test drive it yet or even see it yet?
Oh yeah and it comes with a 6 speed manual. :woowoo:

I'd get one in aug 2005 for like, 15k.

BTW, the link says 170hp. I'd love to test drive it though.

the way you describe it sounds like youre primary interest is performance
corolla is not performance
and neither is hybrid

I couldn't think of a more half-hearted atttempt at a sporting compact sedan. :a:

Spend that same $15K on a DB7/ DB8 Integra & a few mods..and you'll have a machine that will EAT the XRS alive on any road. And look infinitely better doing it.
