I'm used to my Miata's shifter which is one of the best shifters period, so I'm biased. The shifter in the tC feels just like the shifters in the Corolla, Celica and Matrix, none of which are particularly pleasing to me regardless of the length of the throws.

Yeah theres not many around my area. As goes with any newer "hot-item" car that debuts. So I'll have to check out the gunmetal color. One of the sales reps that we first spoke to ordered a black one with the factory lip kit, and he'll be reaching out to me next week when its supposed to arrive so i can see what the color and the kit looks like.
